Stella McCartney for Target @ Le Blog de Sushi leblogdesushi

Stella McCartney's second collection for Target was released on the 29th of October. I haven't had a chance to see it in person yet myself but the lace dresses, tops and tulip skirts look really gorgeous in the look book photos. The price point is similar to that of the last collection, though apparently a bit high for the quality of the pieces.

The whole collection is actually quite large and includes much more clothing and a range of accessories too, which can all be seen on the official site. I want to try some of these on asap and see if they look good on a normal-sized person! Then wait for the sales...

Lace dress in black $199 | Lace top in ivory $129, tulip skirt in ivory $119

I love Stella McCartney but I don't think I would buy any of the pieces, I'm not sure why!
I mean, I shop at Target too, so my aversion to this collection is slightly weird...

I'm liking this collection a lot more than her previous Target one. I saw a few of the pieces in store, and while they were nice, I'll probably be hanging out to see what's left on the sale racks too.

ohh i wasn't particularly fond of it when i looked at the official site a few days ago..
but you know what, i realllyy don't mind that embroidered corset <3 <3
i just remember seeing the trenchs for $400 and thinking that was a tad ridiculous for target..
but mmm..that corset!!!

Yikes! Why so expensive??? I have a hard time with Target's capsule collections. Often the quality is much lower than their everyday clothing, because the design team is trying to make something cheap as chips look high end, so they cut corners on construction and finishing. That said, all of these are beyond stunning....*sigh*

Funny, I've never been too happy with Stella McCartney's designing, but these are, despite the high street effect, nice! Good on her, I wish I could own some but that's a little much for me!

I literally got all excited when I saw this post and wondered how on earth I did not know about this as it's usually announced a couple months ahead in advance prior to the release date. However, because I am from the U.S. and soon realized this collection is sold in Australia as stated in the post, that was a incredibly major bummer! I can't believe your Target got Stella McCartney! I am beyond jealous as there are so many beautiful pieces. The prices are higher than usual, but I'm sure it's well worth it, c'mon it's Stella McCartney!

I checked out the collection and was surprised by the volume of pieces.. there sure seemed to be plenty to go around.. I tried a few things on but only settled with the lace top pictured above, but in blue.

Wow, that's expensive for Target! I really like that black lace dress, but in navy, it sort of screams 90's matron to me. I too will be waiting for sales, there's no way I'd pay this much for something from Target.

I super adore that Ivory Trench dress. Everything looks really polished. Wish we had Target in NZ!
What do you think you might get?

This collection looks AH-MAZING. I feel the need to get to the nearest Target right now, because the diffusion collection designers make for Target almost always sell out!

The navy tulip skirt is going on ebay for a pretty low price at the moment:

The model looks so awkward, and the pieces...hmm. I'd have to see them in person to judge, I think. I'm iffy at this point.
