{ Alannah Hill A/W 2011 }
After visiting the Alannah Hill boutique near my work last week, I'm still obsessing over everything in the store. I came across the lookbook photos of the A/W 2011 collection, which is just gorgeous, as is the choice of model. The best part is that several look-alike versions of these pieces are currently stocked at Forever New so I'm planning on being a bit more experimental with my work outfits this week.

I've been eyeing off that check coat for awhile now, yet I can't bring myself to buy due to all the rip-off allegations re: Alannah Hill. I just can't support it!
Years ago I used to think about working at Alannah Hill, playing dressup everyday! Stockings and lipstick, and being a real lady haha.
But I bet you have all the fun of that at Forever New anyway!!
Also I love these little hats.
Oh gosh. I love Alannah Hill so much! Wearing some of her stocking right now (which is pretty much the extent of what I can afford at her stores).

Each season I feel that Alannah Hill always has a few standout pieces in terms of my style. I got the skirt in the 2nd picture (but in grey) and also the shorts in the 6th picture.
Such beautiful pieces that I think I will be wearing for many years to come.
So cute! I love it. It's a bit of updated Blair Waldorf style (which is always an awesome thing!)
I like Alannah Hill's clothes, but she ripped off some of my favorites designers and I just can't justify that :/
