{ January shopping list }

Since returning from my trip to Adelaide, I've been sticking to my new years resolution of buying a lot less. I've also had a good look at the things that end up in the to sell/donate pile and have realised that the bulk of it is from online purchases that end up being the wrong size, colour, fabric, shape, etc.

So I've decided to cut down on my online purchasing and, wherever possible, to try on or at least see the item in store/on someone else before making the decision to buy. I've also unsubscribed from a lot of newsletters from online stores and deal sites such as Brands Exclusive as these often lead to impulse purchases!

Asos hand knitted mini scarf | Forever New Ollie mini backpack | French Connection raindrop mittens | Seafolly Sophia boyleg maillot | Modcloth All A-boat You bag | Forever New Helena sweater | Forever New Alicia dress (shown as skirt) | Romwe peter pan collar dress | Small bunny night lamp | Romwe pearl collar | Eggling mini plant in Lavender

P.S. I've added some new items to my blog shop!

I adore that gingham one piece! And the romwe pearl collar... Good on you for being more selective with your purchases! I'm sure you would have an amazing wardrobe to shop from anyway :) xx

I actually bought that ASOS mini scarf when it was on sale. Very cute!

I've stopped buying clothes online too and unsubscribed from newsletters. Nothing I buy online ever fits properly so from now on I'm sticking to physical stores only! :) The odd book or home ware online doesn't hurt though...

Nadizzle - True! Note to self: when in doubt, shop your own closet x Sushi

Ellen - I just received my Asos mini scarf in the post today and I love it but I don't get how they got the one on the model to stay like that! Do you use a pin or brooch of some sort? x Sushi

Bec - I don't think I'll ever give up online shopping as I do prefer it most of the time but I need to be more selective about what I purchase ;)

Congratulations on that excellent plan to buy less, I think we all have too much in our wardrobes (although mine is mainly from op shops or stuff I made!) and should try to get more wear out of less pieces.

sushi I was reading your comments and I've actually knitted a scarf like the asos mini scarf- there should be a keyhole in one end where you can pull the other end through?
