{ Berlei Dig-free review & $1,000 giveaway (CLOSED) }

When Berlei approached me last month with the wonderful opportunity to try out their new dig free hosiery and host a giveaway with $1,000 of prizes for my lovely readers I jumped at the chance! Firstly, I took Berlei up on their offer of a review and went on a shopping trip with my best friend while wearing the Berlei Dig-free stockings to test them out.

We started out on Chapel Street at Topshop and Sportsgirl, then went to the city to shop around in Typo, Novo, Cotton On Body, Target, David Jones, Dotti and Forever New. I wore a pair of the Berlei Dig-free opaque tights in 100 denier. I'm a huge fan of stockings and stay ups, which I wear nearly every day, so was keen to review these. The usual brands I wear are Ambra, Razza Matazz, Voodoo, Platinum, Target and I've also tried various supermarket brands.

I found the Dig-free tights a lot more comfortable than the usual tights I wear as the waistband is made from one large tube which doesn't cut in at the top. Also, there is no front seam so these tights didn't leave that annoying line down my stomach at the end of the day like other tights do.

Berei's Dig-free tights come in two sizes, average/tall and tall/x-tall, so as I'm an AUS/UK size 6 I went with the average/tall. I found the length perfect; they gave even coverage and good warmth and didn't wrinkle at the ankles. Because I'm on the petite side, I found the waistband was a bit loose for me, but the tights still stayed up without any problems all day.

After an afternoon coffee break we ventured into Target to have a look at the new sleepwear range by Arabella Ramsay for Bambi. I love the prints and designs from this collection and think it's a great start to Arabella Ramsay's foray into sleepwear. As you may already know if you follow me on Instagram/Facebook, I snapped up the blue floral pyjama set quick smart!

I'll be sharing my shopping haul in a second post as well as an outfit post in the next few weeks. Now on to the giveaway: Berlei is generously giving one lucky reader $1,000 spending money to enjoy on your own shopping spree plus some Berlei Dig-free products! Those Bambi PJs are too cute! This is a pretty amazing giveaway, so I'd say my favourite 'off' day go-to outfit would be a striped tee, jeans, and strappy sandals.

Oh you are too cute! I just adore your hair and that smile!

Ok, now for the comp entry...
On my 'blah' days, I feel most comfortable in a pair of jeans and a tongue in cheek jumper (like my graphic burger print jumper), just to stick it to the world and make me feel great about myself :-)

My favourite "off" day go-to outfit is comprised of dark skinny jeans, an oversized tee, a brightly coloured jumper (if the weather is cool), and cute ballet flats. It feels both flattering and incredibly comfortable, whether I am enjoying the sunshine in a park, or tucked up in a cosy cafe with friends!

What a giveaway! My favourite day off outfit at the moment is a cute high waisted skirt, a loose t with a v neck and ballet flats! I think I can be contacted through my google account ...

The tights sound great! I hate front seams, the always show through clothing. Too bad I'm not Australian, the only seamfree hosiery available here is terribly expensive!

Oh that's too bad, perhaps you could find some online somewhere? Good luck! xo

My floral vintage dress is the perfect thing to wear when I'm feeling not-so fabulous. It's effortless and beautiful :)

Oh wow! Those silver glitter heels are amazing! Can't wait to see what you ended up buying!

My 'day off' dress is the magenta lace skater dress from ASOS. It's just so comfy, and I can throw it on and know it suits me. In summer it gets paired with sandals & in winter its stockings, boots and my pleather jacket!

I can't enter the giveaway, but those tights sound so awesome! I'm always looking for a good new pair :D

Those tights look great! I also dislike front seams and tights that bunch up at the ankle or the back of knees.

My favorite go-to outfit is this flippy vintage style dress and leather brogues. I add black tights and coat in the winter and I'm good to go!

I love the seamless feature of these Berleis! My ideal off day outfit would be my favorite breton top with denim shorts, tights and some ankle boots! Of course can't go wrong with a pastel crossbody to finish it up.

Jeans and a striped tee with flats - and I'm thinking of adding a wide-brim felt or beanie for winter.

I've been looking for new tights for the upcoming winter, this Berlei dig free tights sound perfect!

My fav off-day outfit is a vintage 40s-styled rayon summer dress with the most beautiful rose pattern. I can dress it up with heels or down with flats and cardigan :)

My favourite 'off' day go-to outfit is definitely my Dahlia dress paired with black tights and boots, and my Storets leather jacket on top. Chic and comfortable :-)

I am obsessed with those Arabella Ramsay pj's! After i saw your Instagram photo i went straight to Target but they had already sold out of my size in-store and online :-(

The tights sound amazing and those pajamas!! I'm in love...

My favourite day off outfit is anything colorful and adventurous, as I'm always stuck in my ugly work uniform from Monday to Friday!

the bambi pj set is too cute!

My day off outfit is anything with a pair of jeans. Usually its jeans, a loose tee and a blazer to look a little more sophisticated. A nice scarf to accessories wouldn't hurt either.

My favourite outfit is a flattering fit-and-flare dress, over opaque tights (need to give these Berlei ones a try, I think), ballet flats and a trench coat on top - it always puts a spring in my step.

My favourite off day outfit so far this year has been leather leggings with tights underneath for extra warmth with a loose fitting jumper to counteract the slim fit of the bottoms, topped off by an oversized parka with leather sleeves!

My favourite 'off' day go-to outfit always includes something that makes me feel special and different to the 'usual work outfit'! I love dresses but they are a little cold in Canberra without tights or stockings!

Lauren said...

Oooh at the moment it would have to be my light wash jeans, cute boots, and a warm jumper or cardi!

hana said...

that sequinned dress! amazing!

I just ADORE your style girl! I know everyone always reverts to a baggy ol' sweater + jeans, sometimes I feel like that too but something inside of me tells me I need to wear something different! Usually, in this cold weather, I opt for a cute collared dress layered with a cute knit/sweater and to top it off, some patterned tights and flats!

Boom! Shake-shake-shake the room!

My favorite "Off" day go-to outfit is my $4 Big W trackie dacks and Bedtime T-Shirts. I feel like I always look good when I'm comfortable and I'm able to walk out the door with my head held high.

My favourite "off" day go-to outfit is a pair of Black Milk leggings (my favourite are the sheer spartans) with a loose bat wing plain black top long enough to cover my bum. I'd pair these with a pair of amazing Hush Puppies laced up wedge boots that I am planning to purchase very soon. I'd finish the look off with a structured blazer in a bright colour, either fuchsia or forest green.
